Location: City of Ekurhuleni, placement in Wadeville

Remuneration: R4,356 per month stipend (basic salary per annum, plus benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 10 certificate.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Resident of the City of Ekurhuleni (specify Ward).
  • Currently unemployed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with communities.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Working knowledge of local languages and community dynamics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of community safety.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide facility and community-based programs and conduct awareness campaigns through safety data collection.
  • Ensure all work complies with governance and legislative requirements.
  • Complete tasks promptly and within set timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Information:

  • Applicants can apply for only one category.
  • Applicants must not be active on the CoE HR System when the program begins.
