Job Requirements, Duties, and Application Process

Requirements: To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a minimum of Grade Ten (10) or a National Certificate (Vocational) Level 2. The role demands basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, along with the ability to read and write. Candidates should also be capable of operating elementary machines and equipment and be willing to work extended hours if necessary.

Duties: The responsibilities of the Cleaner include maintaining a high level of hygiene in the workplace. This encompasses tasks such as:

• Dusting the working environment.
• Polishing furniture.
• Vacuuming carpets.
• Mopping floors.
• Removing waste and preventing littering.
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, boardrooms, and passages.
• Serving refreshments in boardrooms as required.
• Keeping and maintaining cleaning materials and equipment
