UIF-Funded Learnership

An opportunity for unemployed youth nationwide to participate in a six-month UIF-Funded Learnership at Pick n Pay.

Program Details:

Duration: Six months

Application Deadline: 12 July 2024

Eligibility:

Unemployed youth under 29 years old

Must have a Matric certificate

Stipend: R3,500 per month

Accreditation: SETA-accredited

Program Structure:

Theory Sessions:

10 days of theory-only sessions

Practical Training:

  • In-store practical training for the remaining duration
  • Support from a dedicated in-store mentor
  • Monitoring and Verification:
  • Ongoing monitoring and verification throughout the program
  • Final Assessment:
  • Final assessment and moderation at the end of the program

Completion of the program does not guarantee job placement.

The program is designed to provide participants with practical skills and experience, enhancing employability.
