Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming store and office areas.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and appropriately.
- Cleaning and maintaining the staff kitchen.
- Preparing tea for staff members daily.
- Cleaning windows according to the housekeeping schedule.
- Reporting damaged equipment and maintenance issues to management.
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and requesting additional stock when required.
- Maintaining high housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout the workplace.
- Assisting with stock takes when necessary.
- Performing any additional housekeeping duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) qualification.
- Good understanding of housekeeping and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
